I am often leary of sequel, it seems too many are too predictable or too played out. Not the case here! Ryan has put together a strong sequel with new fresh new characters, problems and twists while integrating characters and the history of its predecessor. She keeps the style and flavor I loved in her first novel while spinning a fresh tale. The characters are varied and believable, and the outcomes of situations are not far fetched as some novels can be. I enjoyed this one immensely-can't wait to read the 3rd book in the series, this one has left a lot for it to live up to!
